I was making dissever pea soup. The flame must have been a bit besides loftier and bottom of pot got scorched. Soup smelled and tasted burnt. I used the cinnamon solution and it took abroad the burnt smell and taste. You need to keep adding it until soup tastes normal. Thank you!

Thanks! I just tried the cinnamon solution and it worked! It saved two cuts of chuck roast and many potatoes, carrots and beans! Give thanks you---cinnamon stands for goodness!

The cinnamon solution is to add in a tablespoon or so of cinnamon to your pot of soup. It will help to counteract the burnt flavor. Vinegar is also supposed to be good for masking the flavour.
I would just add together in a niggling bit, taste it so continue calculation until the soup doesn't taste so burned.

Hither is what I said before in the thread

When I burn things like carrots, rice, pototoes.. I rub a wet cake of soap on the bottom of the pot - the outside. Don't add together any liquid to the food. Leave a minute then remove the nutrient that is not stuck to the bottom or black and put the pot outside to absurd and keep the smell away.
I don't know how or why it works but information technology usually does.

I burned the chili today and tried the cinnamon. It didn't go rid of the odour or taste completely, and so I added fresh lemon juice (I didn't have whatever vinegar) and dried cilantro.
Hopefully, information technology won't be too bad now. It smells better. :)

My disaster was mushroom soup. Conscientious with vinegar and I was surprised how much cinnamon I needed...but the soup was saved and id made a huge amount for freezing! Cheers

Do not stir, merely cascade all loose soup in to some other container. Practice not scrape bottom burnt office. I did this just a few weeks ago and the soup had no burnt taste. Mine was scorched so badly, it was difficult for me to scrape off the pan later on soaking for a day with dish soap.
Only every fleck of soup was enjoyed without anyone knowing, but me.

Thanks for the communication ladies. I just followed your advice and It saved my soup. I reheated the soup that my female parent in law made. She took her time since concluding nighttime and she finished early this morning time. Oops I didn't mean it. I was in a big trouble few minutes agone. Only my 25 months old baby and you guys know about information technology ;) I gave upwards and I prayed nigh it.

Adjacent time that it happens to any of you, and you scratch the pot unintentionally but modify the pot anyway and put apple tree cider or vinegar until the flavor and smell disappear. It reallyworks ;) xo
